'Our experience of something can change depending on where we see it.'

Invited to contribute to the Max Reinhardt Charitable Trust's MaxLiteracy programme, Meadow Arts has developed an activity guide; 'Understanding Art in Unusual Places'. Based on a collaborative project between Pershore High School (whose students participated), Meadow Arts, and writer JLM Morton, with artist Hilary Jack's work 'Deluge' as it's focus, the guide provides a number of creative exercises to help understand artworks placed in non-conventional (ie. non-gallery) settings.

A simple, clear typographic structure, bold illustration and use of colour sign-posting help guide the reader.

Thank you to Rose Farrington and Emma Bowen (Meadow Arts).
